Vent-Free Gas Logs and Heaters

What is ventless gas, you ask? To be a certified vent-free unit, the burner must precisely mix fuel and air in order to achieve complete combustion (99.9% complete). It is unburned gases that are the harmful byproduct known as carbon monoxide.

For added peace of mind, all vent-free units are equipped with an oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) as part of the safety pilot assembly. This component automatically shuts the unit off in the event of low oxygen levels that would lead to improper combustion. Ventless gas units require only a gas hookup and are therefore extremely easy to install.                                                                 

Furthermore, since no venting is needed, the location of the heater is far more flexible. Better yet, with no heat wasted out of a flue, these units are serious heaters—producing up to 32,000 BTUs of usable heat!

Vented Gas Logs and Heaters

If heating is not your first and foremost concern and you are looking for the most realistic log set available, then a vented gas product could be what you are looking for.  Vented log sets require that the damper be only slightly cracked during use which means less heat loss than with your damper wide open, while providing the most realistic ambiance available in gas products. 

Vented units are not as efficient as ventless models, but what they lack in efficiency they make up for with flame realism. And at 10,000 - 17,000 BTUs of radiant heat produced, these vented units are no slouch in the heating department either. All gas appliances that we sell can be operated via remote control as well.
